My name is Tim Tyson, but I often go by my medieval pseudonym of "Ursus". I am an amateur photographer, and most of my pictures revolve around my participation in the Society for Creative Anachronism ( http://www.sca.org
) and the group I belong to (you guessed it - Anglesey - http://www.anglesey.org
). Feedback, questions and anything else you'd care to share are welcome. You can of course leave comments on the photos and galleries or contact me directly at firstname.lastname@example.org.
ANNOUNCEMENT: I'm re-considering my shooting philosophy, for lack of a better term. See a full explanation here: http://forums.armourarchive.org/phpBB3/viewtopic.php?f=2&t=161234
GULF WARS: Done! Eight galleries now up. Thanks for your patience.
USE OF PHOTOS: Thanks for all your inquiries and requests for permission. I offer free use of the photos on this site for any non-commercial purpose. Credit would be nice, but it isn't necessary. If you have any doubts or want to discuss it further, please contact me at the email address above. (This does NOT apply to pictures in any of the "Photo Shoots" galleries.)

CONCERNING FACEBOOK: Despite recent changes to their Terms of Service, I truly believe that Facebook and Instagram still think they have the RIGHT (!) to any and all photos posted to their website without any compensation to the photographer or the subjects, and use them however they see fit, including for commercial gain. However, I recognize that I cannot really enforce that short of copy-protecting everything on this site, and that runs counter to the very reasons I choose to share them, so I will bow to the inevitable. Post to FB if you wish, but please try not to post too many..
BLOG: I have started a blog on the Anglesey site, in which I plan to discuss any and all aspects of SCA photography. It will be updated regularly (I hope). Please stop by and take a look if you're interested: http://blogs.anglesey.org/ursus
Hope you enjoy viewing the photos on this site as much as I did taking them.
